On Sunday, April 6, the Milano Marathon took place and Mani Tese took the field with enthusiasm and determination: at its side 150 runners and numerous companies that chose to support our project “A school for all!” in Nakuru County, Kenya.
The energy, commitment and generosity of the many people and companies involved enabled us to raise significant funds that will enable us to improve the living conditions of 388 pre-school children, who in the state attend dilapidated school facilities, feeding on only one daily meal of porridge.
Mani Tese, thanks in part to the funds raised at the Milano Marathon, will be able to intervene in support of these children and the entire community of Nakuru County in Kenya.
Running the Milano Marathon was not only a sporting gesture, but a strong message of solidarity and social responsibility. Together with the many runners who joined the project, a big step was taken toward a more equitable and sustainable future.
Many thanks to everyone who ran, supported and believed in our project. Together we really made a difference!
And we can continue to do so!
