Those who sow well, reap good fruits: the proverb says it and we, in Mozambique, put it into practice!
The recipe for best sowing trees can also be a cocktail of seeds: take a basin, fill it with fertile earth, sprinkle everything with some seeds and, with the addition of water, mix until obtaining some wet mud balls, ready to be sown.
The goal of the seed cocktail is to grow more fruit or reforestation trees in the same space and see which one will best adapt to the soil conditions, as in the Maiva demonstration field where the various inter-species inter-associations can be seen food, the use of vegetation cover and the tree lines of bananas, cashew and local forest plants still in their infancy.
