Mani Tese camps in Italy
Mani Tese ETS promotes volunteer camps organized by the Associations and Cooperatives that are part of its system.
For 60 years, Mani Tese volunteer camps have been offering boys and girls the opportunity to share a commitment to solidarity and justice. They offer volunteering courses in which to strengthen their knowledge and put their skills into play. They concretely support projects to combat poverty, protect the environment and promote social justice. They allow them to experiment with good practices to make their lifestyles sustainable while respecting the rights of People and the Planet. They are at the service of our communities to offer opportunities for aggregation, volunteering and education in global citizenship to young people and adults in the territories where we work all year round. Rrepresent a concrete possibility of act in their own territory taking care of their community and tackling the great challenges of our time "in a small way". Pthey allow finally to increase awareness of one's own power change the world starting from oneself and in relation to others.

Also this year Mani Tese offers boys and girls different proposals to spend an alternative and supportive summer time.

From 21 to 25 July 2025, the summer camp for girls and boys aged 16 to 20 from the provinces of Florence and Siena.
Participate to change! The “Participation 4 Change” Summer Camp is open to girls and boys from the provinces of Florence and Siena who want to learn more about the phenomenon of climate crisis, recognize the impact of human activities and organize a response of contrast, mitigation and transformation that can activate people and communities.
During the camp it will be possible to delve deeper into the topic of climate change with experts, observe and experiment with alternative and concrete actions for the promotion of social and environmental sustainability, share knowledge and good practices and develop a manifesto of actions for the fight against climate change as a contribution to the Climate Action Plans that the “Participation 4 Change” project will promote in these territories.

UGUMANA WA TOUR – INTERNATIONAL CAMP IN MOZAMBIQUE
Let's go again!
Also this year Mani Tese proposes a trip to the Zambezia region in Mozambique, where together with the local communities it carries out programs to promote food sustainability through an integrated agroecological approach and the activation of programs and policies to fight and adapt to climate change through reforestation and urban green regeneration. We will meet the communities involved in Mani Tese cooperation projects engaged in agriculture, livestock farming and protection of the environment, biodiversity and fair access to resources and we will learn first-hand about the impact of the activities that are being carried out on this territory and on the communities that inhabit it.

PROGRAM
- City of Quelimane and visit to the municipal nursery and the Aeroporto Expansão school to learn about some projects carried out in the urban area;
- Activities with the Inhannome community to learn about Mani Tese projects in the community;
- Namacurra and visit to the Mixixime community and the activities of support to rural and urban communities through agroecology, reforestation and environmental and nutritional education;
- Maganja da Costa and visit to the community of Mugaua Açucar and the projects aimed at promoting food self-sufficiency;
- Maganja da Costa and visit to the community of Mussula; Zalala beach;
- Tofu Coastal Resort;
- City of Maputo and visit to the different areas of the city, center and suburbs.

TRAVEL BAG “GOOD ROAD”
Through the Buona Strada Travel Grant, the Mani Tese Firenze Association offers young people under 30 a contribution for participation in the international camps of Mani Tese 2025. Buona Strada is an initiative dedicated to Matteo Bianchi, our friend and volunteer, aimed at supporting proposals and projects in favor of social inclusion and in support of a more just and supportive world. To carry out the pre-registration fill out and submit by April 17, 2025 la card containing personal information, personal presentation and reasons for participating in the camp. Participants will be selected based on the form sent and an interview.
Il The field is open to adults. To fully enjoy this experience, a basic knowledge of Portuguese is recommended.
Participants must have a passport valid for more than six months from the time of travel. In addition, the passport must have at least 2 blank pages (always consult the Viaggiare Sicuri website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
Any further health recommendations, a detailed presentation of the travel program, information related to logistics, the country, partners and Mani Tese projects in the area will be provided to participants during the selection interviews and a meeting. online preparatory planned towards
